Wooden Drawing

2018 – 2022, veneer on wooden board, 40 x 40 x 2 cm

The Wooden Drawing series contains two drawing layers. The first layer is a natural drawing of wood and knots. It is a drawing of the growth stages as if on the film tape of an animated film. The second drawing layer is created by linear arrangement and gluing of veneer strips next to each other or over each other.
